Howdy partners!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, things are going pretty swell over here in Hawaii town.... We have a baptism set up for this saturday with Violet Holland, and no her grandpa is not Jeffy boy, i wish though.... Violet is about 13 or 14 and her brother was baptized about a week or two before i arrived here in mililani. She is so awesome and i think she has been wanting to get baptized the second she saw her brother do it... SHe can't wait for saturday to come around. We are tryingt to get her mom to take the lessons but so far no luck... She is a great mother to let her children take the lessons, surprisingly a lot of parents over here don't want thier children learning something as awesome ast he gospel... This family has been blessed because of the faith of a softmore that goes to our ward. His name is Garret Garcia, and he is 16. He decided to ask Violet's brother to take the lessons and he ended up getting baptized... The kid has so much faith. We asked him who he was going to invite next and he said kind of in a nonchalant way, "I don't know, God hasn't told me." That kid has some awesome faith.
Halloween was a little boring, but fun.. We had to be done by 6 on saturday and 5 pm on sunday.... Burner and i have become obsessed with guacomole... So we found a bunch of members with guacomole trees, i mean avocado trees, i wish they had guac trees and we made some dip.. The other elders in the Zone bought food and chips and drinks and came over to our pad.... We just barely bought a ping pong net that can adjust to any kind of hard surface. So we took downt the door in our closet and strapped up the ole net and had a ping pong tourney... We started to play monopoly but then we forgot we had to get our numbers for the zone into the Ap's so that fun didn't last very long, but i'm not so hot at monopoly so its all good.
We just barely got back from Zone Leader Conference and that basically took up all of our P-day and we have special trainings we have to do this week so we won't have any time to take p-day, so i apologize to all of ya'all that have emailed and written letters i will try my best to get you back next monday.... Zone Conference was good, we learned a lot and President Dalton really is a great man... I love him to death and i love being here on a mission!!!!
Gosh but i almost forgot we had a phone conference on sunday with the Stake Presidency and Elder Whiting, the area seventy authority.. We came into the meeting not really prepared to do anything, but it turns out that every single question was either to us or the stake president.. Ha Ha Elder Whiting reamed us pretty good for our zone not doing as good as they should be doing, well not reamed us, but he really made it clear that big things need to start happening here in Mililani... So a lot of new things experienced this week, but it has been a fun ride so far, a little more stressful than i would like, but thankfully the Lord is always there to lean on when the going gets tough...
I love you guys keep on working for the temple pappy and mamma and lil bro, i can't wait to be dressed in white... I will try to get you a letter sent off this next week... Oh and try to find out if Elder Burhley is married yet, i haven't heard at all from that guy!!!! gosh BLAKE!!!!!
Ofa atu, Elder Hala
Hey mom sorry i didn't even see you had given me an email, so some of those question you already answered... TELL BRENDA I AM FINE HA HA, we have an entire other ward that is feeding us and we have a full fridge and we are doing just fine with food, it is kind of good they weren't feeding us that first week cuz we were way busy anyway.. But they all signed up for us this week so i think it was just an off week for some reason.... I saw Jordan die at transfer meeting, we got a pic and said goodbye, he looked bummed about going and i can only imagine. I am excited to see you all but i don't want to leave this amazing place and the work of which follows.... I love missionary work!!!!!
Elder Todd Butcher, he went home with Jordan and my new one now is Elder Andrew Burner from Buena Park, California... He lives right by Knoxberry farm... that is good elder allred made it home he was pretty ready... i can only imaging how many times he calls elder catmull, ha ha he is crazy!!!1
Send me some pics of our house on halloween if you can, thanks, tell dad thanks for the stats, love ya chan
